This project involved the redesign of both the front and rear landscapes, working within the constraints of existing hardscape and challenging site conditions.

With the driveway and patio remaining in place, the design focused on reorganizing the surrounding landscape to create a more cohesive and functional layout. The site’s topography required careful grading and planting strategies to resolve transitions and establish a clear structure across the property.

In the front garden, planting is used to improve street presence while defining the entry and softening the relationship between the home and the surrounding landscape. In the rear, the layout is organized to support outdoor use, with planting and spatial arrangement creating a more usable and connected garden.

The result is a landscape that works with the constraints of the site—structured, functional, and designed to improve as the planting matures.
