This project is being developed in phases, transforming a multi-level backyard into a more structured and immersive landscape.

The initial phase focuses on the area closest to the house, establishing a framework of planting and circulation that anchors the garden to the deck and creates a more intentional transition into the landscape. Future phases will extend the design into the lower levels and side yard, organizing the site as a cohesive whole.

The planting is designed to achieve a more natural, less manicured character, while still maintaining clear structure and legibility. Layered planting and careful spatial organization allow the garden to feel informal without becoming unstructured.

As the project develops, the landscape will continue to expand and mature, with each phase building on the last to create a connected, multi-level garden.
